Downloading the Game
The game is meant to be played in your internet browser, but you can download the game to play locally. You just have to clone this repository and run it into a local server.
How to Play
- Mouse : Move player's camera
- Mouse Primary Button : Shoot
- Mouse Middle Button : Close Notes
- Mouse Secondary button : Toggle aim (While you aim you can't Dash)
- W : Move forward
- S : Move backward
- A : Move to the left
- D : Move to the right
- Q : Quick Weapon Toggle
- I : Open Inventory
- M : Toggle Minimap
- Space : Dash (You can't dash if you are currently aiming)

Freak House is a community‑driven project, and everyone is welcome to take part in its development.

hey! Thanks for trying the game! You are the first one I see finish the first level. There is actually another way to complete the first chapter by talking to the NPC and following the one with the yellow cap through the mines.

Hey! Thank you for trying the game. I can't believe I didn't notice the bug at 6:53 😅, it should be fixed now (I also added a map, so it should be easier not to get lost). Yeah, the first level is by far the hardest, but with enough experience, I'm sure you'll be able to make your way through the other 8 levels.

Oh they did for sure!
I tried the game and I must say that, despite its simplicity, it's really well done. Great job adding the initial narrative voice that introduces players to the story. Otherwise, interactions with the environment and enemies work well, and the plot is simple but well developed. While waiting for more chapters, I'll give you five stars. Congratulations!
